Our Mission

The main emphasis at Dad’s the Word is to focus on the outdoors and to encourage the children to be around nature, care for animals and wildlife and to explore and appreciate their environment.

At Dad’s the Word we provide a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where the children thrive from feeling safe, secure and stimulated. Within this unique setting, surrounded by the beautiful countryside, we promote our natural environment and encourage the children to explore the world around them.

A good balance of child initiated play and adult led activities, allows the children to develop within all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Each child is respected as an individual and we work alongside parents to ensure that we can meet their individual needs.

Knowing the children, their interests, style of learning and stage of development are all important factors to consider when planning and preparing suitable, engaging and interesting activities for the children to participate in. We will do our very best to provide each child with the opportunity to express themselves, be happy and settled and receive the highest standard of childcare.
