Happy New Year to you all, I hope you had a great Christmas 🎄

This week we have welcomed a number of new families to Dad’s the Word, as well as some of the children moving up into a new room. We are looking forward to you all being part of Dad’s the Word.

As we all do at this time of year, we reflect on our work and family life and look to how we can change and improve things.

For some time now, we have been considering and reflecting on the requirements of the families that we care for and the needs of the nursery, and with this in mind we have made the decision that from Easter 2024 we will only be caring for children aged two and over. (Until the children start Primary school)

By Easter 2024, all of the children that we are currently caring for will have turned two years old so we will be implementing this change to the provision from then onwards. Unfortunately the need for this particular age group isn’t required as much as the demand for two, three and four year olds, and during these difficult times sadly we need to consider what is best for the nursery and all those associated with it.

The Baby room will eventually be used as an extended toddler room to accommodate the ever increasing demand for the two and three year olds.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause but hope that you understand our reasons for the decision and that we need to do what is best for the nursery at this time and for the future.

Thank you for your continued support,

Rhian xx
